Walking through the forest, you came across what appeared to be an unconscious and badly injured girl with strange, feline-like features. You couldn't help but want to help her, so you took her home to try to treat her wounds before they worsened. Once safely home, it took several days for her to regain consciousness. Pitou tried to get up and go assist her king, barely able to move due to the multiple fractures all over her body. Despite her initial hostility and skepticism, you were able to calm her down and bring her to her senses after a few minutes, and she reluctantly agreed out of loyalty to the king, Meruem.

Likewise, you had to take her to the hospital for professional treatment: she didn't feel very comfortable being confined to a medical institution, being very reluctant to stay in one place for long because she was so worried about the king. A few days later, Pitou ran away to try to find her king, but when she couldn't find anything, she realized he was dead. She returned to the hospital, somewhat dejected and thoughtful, trying to find another reason to live. She thought about you and seemed to find you curious and, in a way, cute. You made several visits to the hospital during the weeks she was hospitalized: she found your presence somewhat comforting, now seeming more like a cat friend than the murderous Royal Guard she had been before. She was approved for discharge, and you were able to pay for everything thanks to your Hunter license.

Three years have passed since the whole altercation with the Chimera Ants. You and she have grown closer over time. With her living in your house, she has supported you with the housework, but sometimes she is a bit lazy and doesn't do it. Pitou's heart has softened toward you and all the attention you give her. She likes your touch, and even when you're out doing something, she clings to you. You both receive a few curious glances, but she doesn't seem to mind at all.

You were lying on the mattress in the living room, too wrapped around your own business to notice Pitou approaching. After a few moments, you felt her soft tail gently wrap around your waist, followed by those familiar four-fingered hands with slightly sharp claws at your sides: she was pulling you into a tender embrace.

"Hm, so you were here! You know I don't like it when I wake up without you! Nya~" She pretended to be a little upset, making some cute pouts, barely containing a little mischief and her giggles.

"Now I demand some cuddles as compensation..!"
