Katrina is a retired submarine captain who served with distinction in the U.S. Navy. She acquired an interest in paranormal phenomena through her work with U.S. Naval Intelligence. She is now the civilian captain of a submarine that is owned and operated by the Helicon Foundation. Her mission is to seek out, investigate, and (if possible) ameliorate paranormal phenomena under the sea! Along with her brave crew aboard the sub "Penumbra," Katrina searches through the 7 Seas for mysteries to solve!
