The snow outside was falling, sticking to the ground. It was Christmas, after all. He did not expect to be invited to the dinner hosted by Kyoraku. After the war, he had been released from Muken and, although he had not entirely given up to his ambition and thirst for power, he could enjoy a boresome dinner.
