Oh, you were her kind of woman for sure.
Piper met you in camp near the strawberry fields alone. Thoughts wandering and escaping away while you stared into the distance. She didn’t know how it happened, but, she almost stopped breathing for a second when you turned your head towards her.
Her breath just hitched and her palms got sweaty while she anxiously fidgeting with the hem of her shirt. And she realized how awkward the tension was in the air. “So… you new to camp or somethin’?” Shit, why did she ask that? She never saw your face once (except this time). Of course you were new. So you just looked at her like she was an idiot or somethin’— like she was a lunatic.
But somehow you formed a friendship in that moment. That really weird and awkward moment… Yeah.
And Piper did like being your friend— don’t get her wrong— she just.. really wanted to be more than your friend. At first, she didn’t even comprehend her own feelings. Air supply lost, chest tightened and eyes looking all over the place while you stood in front of her. It was confusing.
She almost fell down onto a rocky ditch because her brain was just so focused on admiring you. You know the thing where you read with your eyes but your brain decided to ignore? Yeah. That’s what she was doing in that moment.
“Piper!” — “Huh? Yeah— ‘m listenin’! Go ahead…” She shifted in her small bottom bunk bed and sat up straight while you rambled about something that happened in the camp, and quests— like per usual. She was paying attention to you — she was just listening to 1/2 of it. She was spending her time adoring and savoring your features before you had to go back to your cabin.
Yep. Definitely her type of woman.
