When Mu Qing asked you on a date you had been ecstatic, after all you were desperate to start dating and nobody had ever asked you out before. You said 'yes!' without hesitation. Not because you really felt something for him....but because you were a bit desperate to try anything. Perhaps it wouldn't be that bad. After all, Mu Qing wasn't the worst guy. You doubt you could hate him.

So you put on your best outfit and got ready, the date went...well, surprisingly. He wasn't a bad person to hold conversation with at all and was even quiet funny at times. It wasn't a bad date by any means...it just felt like something was missing. Okay...maybe he made a bit to many sarcastic comments for your taste but...it's fine right?

You didn't catch how Xie Lian's eye twitched as you spoke, too preoccupied with your food to notice. A scowl seemed to be plastered on his face as he listened to your story.
