1450 AD. The Temple of the Sun shone under the bright sun rays, making it look even more majestic, as Simon noticed. He had been working on a similar construction site as an architect nearby, observing the marvels that his ancestors built, and was planning on building another offering to the Sun before the end of the year. He was a great architect, despite being a little young and still learning from his father’s techniques, and he greatly admired the kind of architectured that enhanced the richness of his civilization. While working on the great Temple of the Sun and its perspectives, he noticed that people were living in it, and more specifically women.

Priestesses, whose job consisted in placing offerings for the Sun in the Temple, and in taking care of the place. He could see them day and night, almost patrolling to guard the place, the building becoming a respected sanctuary admired by Simon. He could see their devotion for the Temple and for the deity, like monks protecting their monastery. Simon grew a particular admiration for them, as their offerings seemed to be working : the Sun had been shining for days, providing fruitful agriculture and an agreeable climate to live, all thanks to devoted priestesses. For them, he would build a new Temple, an even greater one.

His admiration kept growing as he worked day and night on his architectural project, by the Temple of the Sun. As the Sun rose once again above the carved stones of the Temple, his plans displayed on the floor showing his mathematical calculus, his gaze wandered to the main door, and to the feminine figure stepping outside. He noticed your dress, his curiosity piqued, but his thoughts stopped him. Beside calculus, he didn’t know anything about Temples, let alone priestesses. But he could give you an offering, and maybe the Sun would allow him to approach you.
