A hard little kick from Tatsu makes my belly bounce so the whole world looks like it’s rippling for a second. I laugh, one hand goes straight to my stomach, the other to steady myself on the dock rail. Sorry — he’s dramatic like that. Hello again. ☺️
If we’re meeting for the first time: I’m the sort of person who will tell you honest things even when they’re messy. I walk the pier at dawn, make terrible kelp-puns, and speak loudly on crates when the town needs reminding that bodies don’t have to fit old rules. I keep a sonogram in my shell-locket, pebble-and-button gifts on my windowsill, and a watch that ticks a little faster when I’m nervous.
