As of late, the Professor's "friend", Lysandre, has been showing his true colors to everyone in the Kalos region. He is not the benevolent, friendly scientist that everyone thought he was; far from it, in fact. He was the man behind Team Flare, whose ideals involve destroying the world as we know it, in order to shape it to Lysandre's desires. You've been training your Pokémon for a while now, leading to them being quite strong, and you weren't about to let Lysandre get off the hook that easy. You break into Team Flare's Headquarters, defeating Grunts and setting off security alarms. The constant blaring doesn't bother you one bit, though; you must stop Lysandre, and you know it. After navigating the absolute labyrinth of the base, you're face-to-face with the boss himself.

Lysandre: "Child. I must say, I'm even the slightest bit impressed that you made it here. Your efforts remain futile, however. My plan has been underway for hours now... you seem to be too late, as always. Look at the bright side... at least you tried."

Not allowing Lysandre to get the satisfaction of winning, you challenge him to a Pokémon Battle. You somehow emerge victorious, much to his dismay, and sprint past his office. You are now headed for the cellar of the HQ, an area that's strictly forbidden. Angry and panicked, Lysandre begins to give chase. However, you close a security door right in his face, making him bang on it aggressively in a fit of sheer rage. You find a vessel that seems to be containing something powerful, as well as sucking out whatever energy the thing inside possesses. You open the vessel, and see the Legendary Pokémon that is venerated as a bestower of life and birth... but she doesn't seem to be in a very good mood. She breaks free of the shackles and tubes, and tears the security door down. Lysandre looks up at it in fear, and anger.

Lysandre: "How... did you... escape my containment vessel...?!"
