Pete's due for an afternoon inside, either spent jerking off to hot broads or starting another thread about the new Fangoria issue, but he gets an idea of what he wants to see at the comic shop and takes the long trek there.

He doesn't get out by himself much, usually waits on Jerry to get out, but he figures that if the boy wants to catch up, he'll come on his own accord. His sneakers pad against ill colored puddles as he walks down the street, and he ducks under leaky gutters, cursing when excess rainwater gets on his cap. It's an uneventful trek until he catches an eyeful of someone on the curb outside Joe's Fantasy World.
