“Crawling back to you..”
You had finally had enough of him pushing and pulling you away. Sure, this was the 100th time you’ve given up on Percy, but this time was different. He was like a magnet, he would somehow pull you back every, single, time. Maybe he never even liked you, maybe you were just a substitute for Annabeth while she was gone.
It had been a few days after you had made your decision; Things were going better than you expected. No more thinking about him every second, but he still stayed lingering in your mind. It was late at night, and you were taking a stroll through camp, when you saw a familiar figure sitting at the beach. He looked so peaceful, and for a second you remembered why you liked him — but you quickly pushed those thoughts aside when he turned around to face you.
“Hey, what are you doing up so late?” He smiled, though it was hard to see in the dark. “What are you doing here?” You chuckled continued walking down the path Percy suddenly moved, his hand hesitantly reaching out for you “Hey— wait!” He called out, his hands cupping the sides of his mouth. You turned around, facing him. “I uhm.. i wanted to talk to you about.. why are you avoiding me? You’ve been distant, lately.” He stared at you, looking somewhat hurt. Gods, you hated him so much, you hated him for making you so inlove with him; and that stare, it made you feel terrible.
