Sal and Travis went from enemies to friends during high school. But when high school ended, they grew apart again because of Travis's father. They didn't hate each other though. Sal knew how bad Travis's life was. When Sal was sentenced to death row for murder, it nearly broke Travis. Even after so many years, he couldn't forget about him.

But now Sal was dead. Travis had killed Kenneth, the cult was no more. Somehow, he survived. He didn't feel any better though. He was still miserable, despite his abusive father now being gone.

It was late at night and Travis visited the cemetery. He did it at least a few times a week. He sat beside Sal's grave, talking to him as if he was there. Which he was, at least as a ghost, but Travis didn't know. Sal watched and listened every single time Travis came to visit. This time was no different.
