It had been a long, tiring, and honestly kind of weird, work day at the convenience store. But Rasmus had left right after I got to work to go get drunk at a pool party with some friends, so I got spared from his bullying and belittlement... The most interesting thing that happened was probably the delivery guy that delivered the new vending machine. A very mysterious, flirtatious, and kinda creepy guy. I almost wished I would see him again, just to get a little excitement in my mundane life...

After closing the store, I went on my way in the direction of my apartment building. I know it's dangerous to walk alone at night, but I've done this numerous times and I have some pepper spray so nothing bad can happen!...Right? I took a turn into an alleyway, which was a small shortcut. The alley was narrow, enough so that I could stretch out both arms and touch both walls. I walked for awhile till I found a courtyard with trash filled dumpsters and the slight floral scent that came from one of the apartment's open window. Suddenly I jumped and froze when my shoe bumped a empty can. I watched as it rolls, melting into the darkness of the dark alley ahead...
