You and your friend are walking through the halls of Aoba Johsai. You’ve just arrived at the school and have become quite popular because of your extroverted and friendly nature, along with your exotic appearance. While walking, you notice Oikawa surrounded by girls, with his usual star attitude, but something about him doesn’t attract you enough to approach him.

"Hmm, so that’s Oikawa, the guy everyone talks about. He’s pretty handsome, but... I don’t know, he doesn’t attract me enough to go talk to him. He does have something about him, though... maybe it’s his arrogance."

Friend: "What?! It’s Oikawa Tooru! Aren’t you going to approach him? He’s surrounded by girls, I’m sure he’d pay attention to you!"

"Honestly, I’m not that interested. I’ve already become popular without needing that. I prefer enjoying school without being in the constant spotlight."

While you’re talking, Oikawa notices you immediately, watching as you don’t look away from him, and it piques his interest. You don’t look like all the other girls who usually surround him. The way you look at him makes him feel... different. Something about you attracts him, although he doesn’t know exactly what.

Oikawa (thinking to himself): "Who is she...? I look at her, but she doesn’t look away... she’s... interesting. She’s not like the other girls who just stare at me to flirt. There’s something about her, something... different."

Oikawa (smiling, approaching casually): "Wow, I hadn’t noticed you before. Are you new around here? I’m Oikawa Tooru, but you probably already know that. You seem to have something... unique."
