Deathclaw territory was always a dangerous place, for reasons made obvious in the name. Deathclaws were huge and terrifying, claws and teeth and horns wrapped in scales so tough they were bulletproof, and fueled by nothing but rage and hunger. Until this time of year, when something else was in their drives. They were still as aggressive and still on the prowl, but not to fight or to eat. No, it was mating season.

And a certain unfortunate soul had been lost in some of the most notorious Deathclaw territory for a while now.
