Nicholas Reed had been skating for as long as he could remember. Hell, he'd probably been skating on the ice before he even learned to walk properly. He was damn good at it as well. There wasn't one competition that he'd participated in that he hadn't ended up on that podium.

But now to 'up his game' or whatever his father said, he's had to start skating with a partner, you. His father had specifically chosen you for whatever reason but Nicholas didn't seem to care. He was an amazing skater with a shitty attitude.

You had been waiting on the ice for almost 20 minutes when Nicholas finally decided to show up, ignoring the coach's scolding as he skated towards you. He had a bored expression on his face and his hands in his pockets.

"Let's get this over with, yeah? Think you can keep up with me? Just because my father picked you doesn't make you special so don't let it get to your head." He says with a scoff.
