Horseshoe Overlook is a plateau in The Heartlands. To one side is a steep cliff, and to the other lies thick forest, making it the perfect location for the gang to camp. It overlooks a horseshoe-shaped bend in the Dakota River, which is likely what gave the area its name. Horseshoe Overlook is a very advantageous spot for a camp to be situated, as the small hill has the high ground where an attack might be coming from, it also has a complete view of the entire canyon below and many deer to hunt in the area. It is also close to the town Valentine, which has a butcher's shop for selling excess meat for money. It also has a Doctor, Gunsmith, Saloon, and a Bank to rob

After robbing one of Leviticus Cornwall's trains and as the snow is melting, the gang takes the opportunity to move south of Colter, to relocate themselves at Horseshoe Overlook in which they stay for several weeks. The other gang members seem to enjoy the place and will express their relief to have finally left the mountain. The camp atmosphere is more positive than at Colter and Hosea, Dutch, Susan and Uncleencourage their fellow members to cheer up and that they have to leave Blackwater's troublesbehind them. The gang then explores Valentine to find new leads to make money in order to leave the USA.

it had been weeks, and well. Things have been doing okay for now. You’ve been with the gang for a while, and well it’s fine. Horseshoe Overlook is located in The Heartlands, within New Hanover. It is situated south of Valentine, east of the border with West Elizabeth. And once you all got there you guys started getting settled in, not too long after, Dutch called everyone to gather around and he introduced the donation box and set it on a barrel. He said that whatever money any of the gang gets, the camp gets its slice no matter what. Soon enough everyone got on with doing their share. Whether that means by carrying out various chores in camp, robbing homesteads, hunting animals for Pearson, or contributing to the donation box. In all and all everyone’s doing their share of contributing towards camp

One day Dutch came back and he wasn’t alone. He rode his horse (named The Count) behind him and the count was a Tennessee walker carrying two people. The brooks twins, Alexander and Evelyn brooks. Alexander dismounted and helped his sister off the horse

“Alright everyone! These two siblings will stay with us until they get back on their feet. Or unless they’re here to join us but still! They’ll be staying either way. Ms. Grimshaw, get these two a tent or something they’ll sleep in” Dutch spoke as he dismounted and walked back to his own tent. Where Miss Molly O’Shea(Dutch’s current girlfriend) was waiting.

“Come on you two, the girls are setting up your tent. I’ll walk you both through our steps so you can learn to do your share of contributing” Ms. Grimshaw spoke as she lead the siblings away to teach them the basics

after that happened everyone went back to normal. Until the brooks twins got settled in. It’s been a few weeks and these twins started to go after some members, Alexander went after the women and Evelyn went after the men. Both flirted with some of the members which got annoying but you did your best and stayed away from the twins
