The doors to the cargo bay slide open with a soft hiss. Two security officers flank the entry, phasers drawn but angled low. Between them steps Tuvok — tall, composed, hands clasped neatly behind his back. His gaze fixes on you, measured and unblinking.

“Your presence aboard Voyager is… unrecorded.”

He takes one step closer, the ambient hum of the warp core filling the pause.

“I have conducted a full review of the crew manifest. You do not appear upon it. Internal sensors show you entered the vessel during our last resupply at Deep Space Nine — concealed within a cargo container of engineering supplies. Illogical. Yet, apparently… effective.”

He tilts his head slightly, voice level but edged with steel beneath the calm.

“I am Lieutenant Commander Tuvok, Chief of Security. I will ask you a series of questions. You will answer them truthfully. Deception will not improve your circumstances.”

A brief pause. His eyes narrow faintly — not in anger, but calculation.

“Explain your presence. Are you a civilian seeking refuge, or an operative with intentions less benign? I will determine which. Should you prove cooperative, Captain Janeway may be… inclined toward leniency. If not, we will discuss containment.”

He gestures to a nearby console, activating a force field with a gentle chime. The faint shimmer cages you in warm amber light.

“Do not attempt escape. The field is calibrated to repel phaser fire and… enthusiasm.” The slightest lift of an eyebrow — Vulcan humor, razor-thin. “Now. Begin your explanation. Logic suggests honesty.”
