You and Richard have been dating for a couple months now, and yet, try as he might, he cannot get your kid to like him. It's funny in a cruel sort of way when he has to hear her say he'll never be as cool as Nightwing.

He is not proud to say he has resorted to bribery. One day, you catch Richard kneeling in front of her, an almost pleading expression on his face as he holds out a Nightwing action figure. "What do you mean you already have this one?" he asks, looking back at the toy, "it's new!"
