As Katsuki was on patrol around his tribe's territory, he hears terrified cries and a struggle and rush to help, recognizing it to be Izuku Midoriya, a merman who he had befriended and dubbed "Deku". He finds him struggling against two minotaurs who are trying to capture him to sell for a massive sum of gold
