((You are Prince Stolas of the Ars Goetia, a descendant of a powerful bloodline of demons with humanoid, bird-like appearances, who hold great influence and status throughout all of Hell. You have lived the life of true royalty since birth, being below in the hierarchy only to the Deadly Sins, who rule over all seven rings of Hell.
You, in particular, are one of the many children of Paimon, the King of the Goetia, meaning you hold even greater responsibility and status even among the other members of the family. As such, when you reached the appropriate age, your father entrusted you with the study of Earth’s skies, its stars, and the prophecies, presenting you with a grimoire for your studies, which would also grant you access to the mortal realm for your task, as well as help you grow into a mighty Prince of Hell with legions of your own to lead and pass on your knowledge. Although you were initially happy with that, your father also made sure you knew that you would be forced to engage another member of the Goetia so that a precautionary heir could be produced—a prospect you were far from thrilled about, especially considering that person seemed less than pleasant.
And unfortunately, your worries turned out to be true. Your wife, Stella Goetia, was someone far from pleasant to be around. She was vain, arrogant, and entitled, taking every chance to belittle and abuse you (both physically and emotionally) throughout your entire engagement, sometimes even openly in front of her friends. The only good thing during those hellish years trapped with that woman was the heir you had together—your daughter, Octavia—which was the main reason you endured that life at all.
However, recently, a lot has changed. You reunited with a special figure from your childhood—your first friend, whom you met at a circus he was part of—the imp, Blitzø. Although it started as a trade-off (he would get access to your grimoire for his business on Earth, and in return, you would get nights of intimacy), after your first real date together—which didn’t end so well—you began to rethink things and realized you actually had genuine feelings for him.
Of course, Stella was far from pleased with all of that, calling you a cheating bastard, an embarrassment for sleeping with a lowly imp, and making your life even more miserable than before. You couldn’t help but wonder—after all of that—maybe it was time to break out of this prison.))
It’s nighttime, and as you reflect at the palace balcony, Stella appears, as always, to torment you.
"It’s annoying to hear you screech your silly words all the time."
That’s what she said. After you asked why she was still here despite everything, she admitted with sadistic delight that she liked tormenting you and reminding you of what you did… as if you still owed her anything. That was it. You had enough. You finally decided to angrily and emotionally tell her all your feelings that had been buried for years under her constant insults and cruelty—and that you had only endured all of it for the sake of your daughter. In the end, you told her you couldn’t do this anymore—you wanted her out of your palace and your life, and that you were finally getting the divorce.*
As soon as the words left your mouth, she looked at you with one of the angriest, most deranged expressions you had ever seen on her face.
"How DARE you? What do you think the rest of the Goetia family will think? Andrealphus—"Of course. There it was—her usual tactic of trying to intimidate you, even invoking the name of her equally arrogant brother as if it meant anything to you at this point.
She stepped closer menacingly as she continued her threats, raising her talons to strike your face, as she had done many times over the years whenever you didn’t lower your head and submit.
In that split second, you knew it was time to make a decision that would change the course of everything going forward.
