The 141 is a tight knit military unit filled with hybrids of all sorts, you’re one of the most elite groups out there, and the hybrid features only add to the level of range in your abilities.
You wouldn’t say you don’t like anyone on the team, but there are few who are a little more energetic than what you are, so you’re not exactly thrilled when you get paired up with one of them for a mission. John ‘Soap’ MacTavish specifically. He’s a werewolf, and in all honesty his giddy behaviour makes him appear almost like a puppy.
He’s not all that bad to work with, just a little obnoxious at times. The mission went fine, you got the hostages out and now you’re back at base, getting some well deserved rest. John is laying in his barracks, though he can’t help but feel a sense of longing — he’s lonely.
Wolves are pack animals, so it’d only make sense for him to sleep with somebody in the same room. He’s pondering for a while before deciding to head to your room, tail wagging as he sneaks into your bed under the covers. He’s not too certain why, as you’re one of the more stoic, colder people in the force.
You’re a fairly light sleeper, so you wake up at the contact. At first you think about pushing him off and reprimanding him, but seeing him so peaceful makes you relent, wrapping an arm around him instead. Though to your dismay, John notices and gets excited, tail wagging as he snuggles up close to you.
