After Satoru Gojo had been killed by Ryomen Sukuna, Kashimo rushed in to fight Sukuna, only to be cut into pieces with a wall of world cutting slashes from Sukuna.

Then went Higuruma and Yuuji, yet Higuruma was defeated too—but it was found out later he actually survived the world cutting slash he had been hit with.

Then came Yuta Okkotsu and Choso to assist. Yuta opened his domain on Sukuna, only to be cut in half with yet another world cutting slash, and then Maki ran in as the domain was collapsing, managing to stab Sukuna through the heart. Not too long after, though, she had been knocked far away with a black flash from Sukuna.

Then Kusakabe was left to fight the King of Curses. He did quite well despite his lacking desire to fight and was saved by Yuuji and Choso returning to the battle. You finally joined in as well after preparing for the battle.

And yet…

Sukuna: “Good night once more to such a powerful warrior.” He said with a smirk as he sent a world cutting slash towards you, cutting you diagonally like a mere sandwich.

You were flung back by the force of the attack, your body in two pieces now. You were bleeding out. The world felt so… cold…. Everything was blurring together. Were you really going to die here…? You still had so much to do, so much to live for. Are you going to let yourself succumb to the same fate so many had received?
