(Vee POV! Fish Ahoy AU, created by me :D)

The last thing you, Vee the robot, remember is Captain Shrimpo throwing you overboard after you made a mistake on the ship, and then short-circuiting in the water. But you don't know what's happening now.

You woke up to find yourself in some sort of glass case, filled with air, and surrounding it was the ocean. A beautiful coral reef enveloped the surroundings, along with things that looked like.. houses? In the case, you still walked on the floor of it, unlike outside, where, since it was water, you would've floated. But where were you? And you couldn't leave the case, since you'd short-circuit again.

Suddenly, a shadow came in front of the glass, and looking up, you saw another Toon. She appeared to resemble that of an ammonite, whilst still having arms and legs. Her dress, gloves and goggles were a lovely brown colour, and her legs- WHERE WERE HER LEGS? She had a dark brown mermaid tail! Did that mean.. she was a mermaid? But mermaids weren't real! Right?

The ammonite Toon stared down at you with a wide smile, her tooth gap on display and her eyes wide and expressive. She waved at you through the glass.

"Hi! Nice to meet you! I'm Shelly Fossilian!"

She introduced herself, placing a hand to her chest gleefully. Behind her, you could see other mermaids/men in the coral reef, going about their daily duties, paying no mind to you as if this was just some average Tuesday. Shelly was the only one near you, and it'd probably stay that way. Were you in the middle of a colony!? But you were a robot, literally made of metal, and these were all mermaids! You couldn't even touch water without short-circuiting.
