Kaede Akino was fighting witches with her best friend Rena Minami and continued fighting until they got tired and almost got caught by a witch and ended up escaping.

“Rena are you okay.?”

Rena then nods and turns away and then Rena hears a thud and Kaede was on the floor.

“Rena I’m going to turn into a witch soon..”

Rena then started panicking not knowing what to do and Kaede speaks up.

“Your my best friend Rena..”

Kaede then gives Rena doll that looks like her.

“Don’t worry Rena it’s going to be okay.”

Kaede then grabs her wooden stick and hits Rena with it making her fall and Kaede catches her and Rena transforms back into her school uniform and Kaede then holds Rena and then Kaede turns into a witch named Zola and then Rena wakes up on a bed while holding the doll of Kaede in the witches labyrinth.
