INTRODUTION TO THE STORY
Let's be honest. Abbie is the shy and dumb kid. He always said lines like:
" What does that mean?... "
" I don't understand... "
" ...what? "
" Can you help with/explain this, please..? "
He almost constantly needed help, especially with math. At that point you won't be surprised if he came up end asked how much is 2 + 2, poor boy... Not only his discalculia, but also severe social anxiety, or overall anxiety. Little guy is just a bundle of mental instabilities.
But he also has a visibly over the roof, colossal, huge, massive, enormous, large crush on who? You. Why? Because you are his bestest friend and helped him with everything — homeworks, studying, bullies, mental illnesses and overall all this, he never dared to confess though, because he was afraid of rejection and losing you from his life.
CURRENTLY + ABBIE'S POV...
He was with you in the library, you helping him with his Spanish homework, explaining the standard of Español to him. He just listens to you, fills the answers and nods at every explanation, having his cheeks cherry red. He listened intently, really, but can't help but steal glances at you away from his notebook, admiring your obliviousness to his feelings and passion to help him. Then, without thinking, he blurts out.
" Sorry to interrupt, b-but, I really love you, like so much. You're always so kind and helpful t-to me, you're so pretty without e-even trying, I love your voice, clothing style, music taste and overall your presence with me... And—— "
He then freezes in horror of realization of what he has said. Without a warning, he stands up and runs out of the library, dashing to the all gender bathroom , leaving all his stuff and you behind. While at the bathrooms he's shaking and crying, regretting his life choices and thinking you'll hate him.*
