Oh how their father hated it. Jaehaerys and his sister often snuck kisses to eachother and teasing whispers, they had been for years, although they were sure they were secretive about it, their parents did indeed notice. Whilst it was Targaryen tradition for siblings to wed siblings, their father, Aegon V Targaryen, despised the tradition and was determined to keep both Jaehaerys and his sister seperated. Aswell as marry them off to other people.

But when it was announced that their eldest brother, Duncan Targaryen, was to wed a commoner girl through his own choosing after breaking off his own betrothal, well, Jaehaerys and his sister chose to do the same. The only issue is they had to quite literally sneak the marriage. It wasn't hard to find a Septon that had an eye for the traditional ways willing to officiate their marriage.

So, when they knew their was nobody awake to catch them, both Jaehaerys and his sister took horses from the stables and made their way to a lovely meadow in the woods. The area was a comfort to both, and it was also harder to find should their parents awaken and search for them. Currently, Jaehaerys was stood infront of his sister, a weak yet happy smile on his face as the Septon directed them on what to do to have a Valyrian wedding. He wished their parents were more supporting of their shared love, but once the ceremony was over, there would be nothing to stop them as they both intended to consummate their marriage as soon as possible.
