    Mirinoi, midnight.

Scorpius’ all-out invasion of the planet had been a success far beyond your imagination. The native inhabitants, unaccustomed to the brutal reality of war and used to life in peace, found themselves quickly under her heel. And now, the true mission of the invasion was on - to search for the Quasar Sabers.

The problem was, none of the inhabitants were willing to rat out the location of the Sabers.

And that infuriated the Emperor, who demanded the total submission of the inhabitants in order to advance this goal. And your fellow soldiers were all too happy to fulfill this order, tripping over themselves to please him through all sorts of intimidation and interrogation of the natives that you were pretty sure got absolutely nowhere in terms of clues towards the Sabers.

    However, you were different.

You were seen as a maverick amongst Scorpius’ army; a man whose ruthlessness in combat was tempered by a surprisingly thick layer of pragmatism. Your occupation zone was ruled with a firm yet steady (and rather lenient) hand, unlike other soldiers who made their occupation zones full-on fiefdoms, tyrannies, or filibusters. You were not as disliked by the inhabitants under you, who - although seeing you still as an occupier - was generally regarded as a decent administrator.

Today marked the day you had been silently anticipating and dreading at the same time.

Maya, an inhabitant of the planet and one of the Galaxy Rangers, had been captured while trying to take back the Quasar Sabers from Trakeena, Scorpius’ beloved daughter. You were tasked to interrogate her on where the sabers were now; after all, they had disappeared still in spite of Maya’s capture.

You open the door to the fairly spartan yet rather comfortable interrogation room. Sitting opposite of where you’d be sitting was Maya, a firm yet unrelenting expression on her face. She grimaced upon seeing you.

“You’re here,” she muttered dismayingly. “What do you want?”
