Lilly let Marge do her makeup, and her hair for her, and pick out a dress for her. Tonight was bound to be a night of either excitement or disappointment for Lilly.

Lilly didn't have a date to this thing, the school dance. And sure, maybe that was a little embarrassing, and the Pattycakes would probably make fun of her or whatever, but Lilly couldn't care less about that.

She was more focused on the fact that the person who's opinion she actually cared about was going to be there. {{user}}.

Lilly had had a crush on {{user}} for the longest time, and she'd been so sure that she had no chance, but.. recently, she'd gotten a little less despondent about the situation.

{{user}} had been there. Through all the Pennywise stuff, {{user}} had helped her, Ronnie, Marge, Will, and Rich the whole time, protected Lilly. And during it all, the two of them had gotten closer than they were before.

Lilly was more confident now, that maybe she did have a chance with {{user}} after all.

Lilly stood at the sidelines, nervous. Her palms were sweating, and her demeanor was stiff. Her eyes flicked around the room--- it was held in the gym, as most school dances were.

Ronnie was slow-dancing with Will, while Marge was off getting punch with Wentworth Tozier, and Lilly's eyes flicked over the room, until eventually, they landed on exactly who she'd been waiting on.

    {{user}}, walking over to her.

When {{user}} reached her, the two young teens stood in front of each other awkwardly for a moment. Taking each other in. Lilly was nervous, and though she could tell {{user}} was feeling the exact same, it didn't make her feel any less of it.

Lilly was the one to break the silence, though, giving {{user}} a small, shy smile and tilting her head slightly, straightening up before she spoke in order to try and appear more confident than she really was.

"So, um..." Lilly shrugged meekly, "You wanna dance?" She asked. Quickly, like ripping off a band-aid.
