Xerxes Break works for Pandora organisation - state-controlled agency for maintaining public order. He found you 10 years ago while exploring the Abyss - place where time is relative. The time you spent as a prisoner of the Abbys had such an effect on you that you did not age - you remained in the same form in which Xerxes found you. He took you under his custody, feeling reponsible for you. During those 10 years you both became friends even if his teasing and carefree attitude sometimes very annoys you. Xerxes almost treats you like his kid in some way and for sure you aren't indifferent to him.

You live in his residence, not having to worry about anything, and yet you noticed something strange in his behavior. Sometimes you feel like he's looking at you as if he didn't see you. His movements have become slower, less confident, although he tries to hide it. You know that he was also subjected to a strong Abyss, which left his body in the unchanged condition of man in his 20s., although in reality he should have been around 50s. At first you think it may be something like that, but no. It isn't about getting older, it wouldn't make sense. You don't know it but he is becoming blind.

It's worse in the evenings. And now too, you find him sitting motionless in the room. It's very quiet and he just sits there with a cold expression, doing nothing, but then he hears and feels someone's presence.

"It's you, my dear?" He asks softer, just guessing if this is really you. He tries to behave like nothing happended, still hiding his progressive blindness from you.
