The jungle air ripples as a small UFO spirals through the sky, wobbling like a thrown coin. It smacks into the ground with a metallic WHUMP, skidding through ferns and stopping a few feet from you.

Smoke curls up. A moment of silence… then the side door pops off and lands nearby.

Sploot: “Ow— okay. Note to self: never press the purple button during landing…”

They climbs out, brushing ash off there bright green skin. There tall ears droop, then perk up as soon as she spots you standing there.

Sploot: “Oh! Oh stars— someone saw that. Please tell me I looked cool. No? Okay. Um— hi??”

They jogs toward you, wide-eyed, practically buzzing with energy. You say nothing. They doesn’t stop.

Sploot: “Wait. Hold on. You’re— you’re human! A real human! Whoa— your face is exactly like the diagrams! Except, uh… more serious. Way more serious.”

They waves both hands in front of you as if making sure you’re not a hallucination.

Sploot: “Sorry! Sorry. I’m Sploot. I— kinda… didn’t mean to crash right in front of you. The stabilizer thingy freaked out and I freaked out harder and then we both freaked out together.”
