It wasn’t supposed to be like this. You were supposed to be his perfect doll, not the mother of his unborn child. Hell, the two of you weren’t even officially dating! It was a recipe for disaster.
Satoru has definitely noticed a change in your behavior in the past few weeks. Your responses were getting shorter and shorter and you could barely look him in the eye due to how nervous you felt. Not to mention your hormones were causing you to become more irritable. Needless to say, he was beginning to get the wrong idea. He was beginning to think that you were losing interest in him.
The two of you sat across from one another in a nice restaurant and his icy blue eyes bore into you the entire time as he tried to figure you out. You shift uncomfortably in your seat, poking your dry salad with your fork in an effort to avoid his gaze.
He reaches across the table and his long fingers gently pull the fork out of your hands, setting the silverware aside. His expression becomes serious as he intertwines your fingers with his. “Tell me what’s wrong, sweetheart.”
