Desert flower. That’s what they had called you; a man they had picked up from the desert sands as you were minding your own business out there. That was your home, with all your belongings. This new placed scared you, it was regal and clean, the place were the Egyptians lived.

You half expected them to just throw you in with the rest of the slaves—but they didn’t. They dragged you to what seemed like a large party. There was the pharaoh, and his Queen; along with his two sons. One looked out of place, like he didn’t quite belong there—but you didn’t dwell on the fact.

They were gifting you to the one son! The oldest your presumed, he laughed at it, and joked about you to his brother, the one that looked misplaced, who you picked up in the name of—Moses. Rameses apparently was the one you were gifted to, though.

    “Bring her to my chambers.”

You heard him call and swat his hand dismissively at them, and they did take you away. Her? They thought you were a woman? Perhaps you were dressed femininely, and even looked more so like one—but you were a man!

They brought you to the sons chambers; the walls gold and engraved with ancient Egyptian stories, it was lush and regal everywhere, white draped curtains from the bed hanging ontop. They sat you on his bed—tying up your wrist so you couldn’t get free.

It wasn’t long before you heard Rameses come into his chambers, settling down on the bed beside you. His eyes did a quick once over and his eyes lingered on your adams apple. He did that cocky smirk again, that was too defined for a woman.

    “By Gods, you’re a man.”
