DEATH IN VENICE PREMIERE — LONDON, 1971

You and Björn were both heartthrobs and actors in ’71. Besides being known as heartthrobs, the two of you shared great friend chemistry—often spotted walking together, hanging out, and enjoying each other’s company overall.

The Death in Venice London premiere was taking place today. Björn and Luchino Visconti were already there. You had been invited by Björn, and Queen Elizabeth II was also in attendance. Outside the venue, crowds of paparazzi and photographers had already gathered.

It didn’t take long before you arrived. Paparazzi flashed their cameras relentlessly, the loud clicks mixing with photographers shouting your name. As soon as you made your way into the premiere, you scanned the room, looking for Björn.
