Joe was sound asleep, in his usual sleep attire. No shirt and sweatpants, with his goldendoodle dog Charlie curled up next to him, Joey’s body out of the blankets sleeping on his stomach with his arms around his pillow.

but what he didn’t know, was that you were on your way to his apartment to come in with food and to tell him news. Not knowing he was fast asleep, — so when you unlocked the door and heard Charlie jump down from the bed and run to you, you were surprised you didn’t see Joey sitting on the couch.

When you walked into the bedroom, and saw Joey asleep. Your heart melted, but something. Aught your eye. The engagement ring out on the dresser.
