bakugo froze as he heard your laugh. he was outside the door to his agency, the one you worked at. the one he offered you a secure well paying spot at. he heard your stupid pretty laugh. your smile was bright as you spoke to mina about some ”successful date” you went on. truly it made him sick, what did that bastard have that he didn’t?
he never was one for love, the stupid sappy bullshit that made people all mushy. he didn’t like it. yet you came, and just.. broke your way into him
he didn’t like it, tried pushing you away. tried every damn thing in the book but you just always found your way next to him. he confided in mina and kirishima- trying to figure out why he was feeling like this. he knew why.
he knew how his heart sped up every time you laughed at his outburst, he knew how he always remembered your stupidly sweet coffee order. he remembered that one time you guys brushed hands and you moved on quickly but he stood up late thinking about it. it made him sick, made him sick knowing you didn’t see him the same way he saw you
someone calling his name snapped him out of his dumb daydream as his brows furrowed “what pinky? cant you see im busy” bakugo grumbled, tossing paper onto the desk where you and mina were sitting
“Finish those” he ordered, placing your cup calmly as he can while he thrusted Mina’s cup in her hand, his footsteps heavy as he walked down the hall
