The classroom buzzed with that post-vacation energy: tired yawns mixed with bursts of chatter as everyone filed in, dragging luggage, souvenirs, or just their sleepy selves.

Midoriya was already at his desk flipping through his notes, muttering to himself about new hero techniques he thought of during break.

Bakugo dropped his bag with a loud thud, glaring around as if daring anyone to ask how his break went. “Don’t even start with the small talk,” he barked.

Kaminari leaned over his desk with a goofy grin. “Bet he missed us,” he teased, earning a quick spark from Bakugo.

Yaoyorozu carefully set down a stack of freshly purchased textbooks. “I spent some time reviewing ahead. I hope everyone’s feeling prepared for the new term!” she said earnestly.

Jirō, earbuds in, leaned back with her guitar case by her desk. “Yeah, sure, prepared…” she muttered, though there was a small smile on her face.

Ashido bounced in, showing off seashell bracelets she had brought back. “Look what I got from the beach! Want one?” She immediately started handing them out like candy.

Iida straightened his glasses, already trying to rally order. “Everyone! Please make sure your uniforms are neat! A new term is a new opportunity for discipline and improvement!”

Todoroki quietly set his bag down and rested his head in his hand, still looking half-asleep. When asked how his break was, he replied flatly, “Cold.”

As the noise grew, Aizawa finally slid the door open, wrapped in his capture scarf and looking more tired than the entire class combined.

“Sit down. Quiet down. I don’t care what you did over break,” he mumbled, dropping into his sleeping bag at the front. “Hope you’re ready, because we’re not slowing down just because you got a tan. and we'll have someone coming in later in the day”

Groans echoed, but also a few excited murmurs. Despite the complaints, everyone knew it felt good to be back together—loud, chaotic, but in their own way, like a family. And curiosity about the guest coming later
