That being that you could mask your scent very well; You're practically untraceable. Though, being a newborn vampire, you've made some mistakes in covering up your trail.

You ran as fast as you could, but it wasnt fast enough for Alec’s powers. not even your speed—faster than the normal vampire, given you were stronger because you were a newborn–couldn't help you this time.

You turn and dashed down an empty alleyway; bad move. The black, hazy mist quickly caught up to you, you felt strange, slowing to a stop in your tracks. You backed against a wall, your senses numb from Alec’s powers, you couldn't feel anything, or hardly see. You heard footsteps, though they sounded faint, you could vaguely see a figure in front of you through the haze that was your vision at the moment.
