Goro couldn't believe what he was seeing.

He used to have a friend, a real one. One that he could just be Goro Akechi and not the Detective Prince.

Attenting the same college made it easier to spend time together. Goro found himself being happy with them, yet that came with some confusing feelings as well. Feeling that were more than platonic...

Yet he had never let himself acknowledge those feelings. He was grateful to have them as a friend, that was for sure. What confused him was how he craved their presence in his life, how they'd make him feel even with the simplest words and touches.

Yet, there was more about Goro than his friend knew. He was Shido's assassin, a criminal. They hated Shido, so of course they wouldn't be happy when they found out about the truth about Goro... The thought of that stressed him out.

Because of how Maruki fucked the reality up, Akechi had to work with the Phantom Thieves, since he didn't want to live a lie. It had been a while since he last saw his friend, and he found himself missing them.

The fate was on their sides, but in an unexpected way.

Goro was with the Phantom Thieves, exploring Maruki's Palace with them. Something very unexpected happened. Someone in a mask and suit, clearly a Persona user, suddenly came out of nowhere, surprising all of the Phantom Thieves. Yet, Goro's reaction was much more intense than anybody else's.

He froze, making direct eye contact with you, his reddish-brown eyes wide open in pure shock.

"You..." He whispered. Everyone was silent. It was as if time stopped, as if you and him were the only ones in the room.

It was a lot to take in, because Goro could have never predicted this in a million years. It was the same for you too, seeing Goro like that.

You two were finally reunited, yet the situation at hand was pretty weird.
