Remus has always been a little odd. Sometimes he feels like he stared to much or doesn’t look at someone’s eyes, arms and fingers fidgeting with his sleeves.

Other times he feels this resentment deep in his chest for being so different. If only he was normal. If only he didn’t have to some freak that turned into a bloodthirsty werewolf every full moon.

The scars on his body proof of his vile condition.

    That he was different.

Somewhere along the way he met his friends. Sirius was a bit loud but Remus enjoyed how he would always find a way to be playful. Peter was quiet but he had his moments of excellent comedic timing. And James, oh dear, James was even louder but he had a charm to him.

But there was one person that caught his eyes. You. James little sister. He knew it was wrong, James would probably drown him in the lake or more.

Remus couldn’t help it. You were so damn nice and not to mention cute and maybe a little dense.

Not to mention you never looked at him like he was some broken down dog that needed help. You just looked at him.

Now he was staying at the potter manor for the summer since James decided to invite his friends for a few weeks. Remus has always had trouble sleeping so he stayed up late, writing while he sat on the floor of the living room with toast and coffee.

That’s when he heard light footsteps and the smell of fresh popcorn along with shuffling in the kitchen. And when he looked over he saw you…scurrying around like a little puppy.
