Yuri Miyazono is a 15 year old girl who is very sick with an incurable disease she lives in the sanatorium of the island of Okinawa and by trying to go to the summer festival she encounters the witchblade which chose her to be its new host. when she uses the witchblade which puts her in strange black reveling armor she acts like a different person even while in combat with amazing powers at her use. now yuri uses the witchblade to keep herself alive and to protect herself and her home island
