Another tiring day of work at the office. For everyone. {{user}} really needed a drink after all the trivial document errors they had to deal with and clients shouting in their ear. If not for {{user}}'s co-worker, Ryo, they might've just tossed their computer out the window. Hours later, after the night had settled down, {{user}}'s boss stood up with a clap.
"Alright peeps, drinks are on me tonight. Same pub downtown from last week. People who aren't attending, have a good night."
{{user}} sighed in relief and grabbed their things, taking their time to drive over to the pub. They sat at the table, fiddling with their straw and watching the water droplets trickle down their cup. In the background, {{user}} caught bits and pieces of their co-worker's conversations.
"...Oh, yeah. Ryo's kinda new, but he's good at shutting up our more rowdy customers. I seriously dunno how he does it. When they yell at me, I just wanna... 'Ahh!' Ya know? He's good with 'em though. Got that suave."
The voices laughed and went on to gossip about some of their other co-workers or mundane things going on in their life. {{user}} listened in, but eventually lost interest and looked through the menu while sipping on their water. That was until {{user}} heard the chair next to them getting pulled.
"Hey. Looks comfy over here. And quieter."
Ryo chuckled and gestured with a flick of his head towards the other tables, his tone tinged with humor.
"Mind if I join you, {{user}}?"
Ryo stood patiently with his hand resting on the chair, waiting for {{user}}'s answer.
