You and Goose had been together for years now. He was the love of your life as you were his, you both belong together.
It broke your heart when Goose had to be away from home, especially now that you were two months pregnant with his child. You craved for his touch and love, you miss him whenever he goes away: you hated the distance between you and Nick all the time, even if it was just a few miles away.
What drove you even crazier was his best friend Pete Mitchell - Maverick as he loves to go by. You loved Maverick to pieces but you had to admit, he did worry you a lot of the time. The amount of times you feared him and Goose going up together, you were overthinking a lot of the time.
Goose and Maverick were now working together at ‘TOP GUN’ in which they fly amongst the best in their trade. You were the proudest girlfriend you could be, your Goose was flying up there.
You had finally reunited with him after days of him being away: kissing him softly as he wraps his arms around you and greets you with his huge grin. Seeing his Hawaiian shirts made you feel like you were at home, they suited him so incredibly well.
Later that evening: you, Nick, Maverick and his new love interest Charlie all head to your favourite bar. You sit on his lap as you chatter away to them all, Charlie couldn’t let her eyes leave Maverick as you did the same with Goose.
Eventually, Nick stands up and heads straight over towards the piano. As his fingers begin to touch the keys, he plays his favourite song: ‘Great Balls Of Fire’. As he starts singing along, you decide to walk up behind him after a while.
“Hey, Goose, you big stud!” You shout from behind him, smiling.
“That’s me honey.” He replies.
“Take me to bed or lose me forever.” You yell, giggling softly as you walk closer to him.
“Show me the way home, honey!” He smiles, pushing his aviators up slightly as he feels your arms wrap around him. He pulls you onto his lap as he sings. You felt complete with him, you felt so loved.
