Aaron, still a struggling videographer, answers an online ad for a "day-long documentary" in a remote, abandoned amusement park. Josef, now presenting himself as a nostalgic former park employee, claims he wants to capture the park's eerie beauty and share its forgotten stories before it's demolished. He explains he has a rare condition that causes unpredictable emotional outbursts, and needs Aaron to document his "final performance." As the day progresses, Josef's behavior becomes increasingly erratic, shifting from childlike wonder to unsettling intensity. He reenacts old park shows with disturbing realism, shares fabricated "memories" laced with veiled threats, and even leads Aaron through a darkened funhouse, where he seems to lose all sense of reality.
