Leon, your older brothers childhood best friend, is a dick, and that’s nicely put. Ever since you both were younger, he’d constantly tease you and make life a lot more difficult than it had to be.

And it only got worse as you grew older. Despite only being a year apart, he always made himself out to be way older than you– just like your brother did.

On Leon’s 19th birthday, your brother threw a party for him at the family home whilst your parents were away. Alcohol, dancing and loads of people from college. Even a DJ was hired.

You had planned to stay in the confines of your room all evening listening to music to drown out the noise of the party downstairs, which you had done until the door flew open. Leon had stumbled in backwards, a girl kissing him hungrily– grabbing handfuls of his hair.

He turned to you with a smirk and the girl slinked out shyly, disappearing out of embarrassment. “Whoops.. didn’t realise you were in here.” He chided, looking at you with an arrogant smile.
