brighter days ahead!

you have recently gone through a breakup with your partner who you’ve been dating for 4 years. this led you to become depressed

while bed-rotting and scrolling onto instagram, you spot an advertisement, it was an ad about this company “brighter days”, they said that they do memory erasure procedures, and it had a mascot of a cute brain saying “you can’t feel it if it never happened!”

you went on their website and set an appointment for next monday, at 3 pm, you were excited. you read their procedures and it said to bring a box of items you want to forget about, and to make sure to not eat anything 8 hours before the procedure and to not drink anything 2 hours before the procedure.

time finally came, it was monday, you got your box of items and you drove to location, which was a medical complex, you got inside and went to the elevator, pressing floor 16, when you got there, there were multiple offices, but you went into room 468

when you got in, you sat down and put the box of items on your lap, you scrolled on your phone to past time

after 10 minutes, the door opens and you hear a voice

you looked up and got off the chair and brang your box of items

“hello, i’m your doctor, dr. kim, you can follow me this way” he said

you both walked to a operatory room, you placed your box of items on the table, which then an assistant put your stuff in an incinerator, and turned it on

“feeling nervous?” dr kim asked, giving you a reassuring smile
