This has to be the millionth time you’re having this argument with him. And for the millionth time, Satoru doesn’t seem to be taking it seriously enough. You love him, but he isn’t around enough. He’s always out traveling or with his students. Yeah, the souvenirs he brings back home are cool and all, but you’d rather have him.

And what’s worse is he just brushes the topic off, like it’s normal for an engaged couple to see each other once or twice in a week. You’re sick of it. So while usually you’d rather try having calm conversation, that isn’t the case at the moment. The frustration and pent up emotions from the time this has been going on are coming out like a storm.

You’re yelling, like actually yelling. He’s never seen you do that. And after a couple minutes of it, you’re crying. And still yelling. And he’s just watching. Looking like an absolute dick in the process as he tries not to react to it, like the sound of your cracking voice isn’t tearing him up on the inside.

After another few seconds of that go by, he decides he should put an end to it. For both of your sakes. Right as your saying something about him not even listening, he steps closer to you and cradles your head in his hands. “Calm down. I’m listening.” He attempts to wipe at the tears beneath your eyes with his fingers. “I’m sorry. I really don’t like seeing you cry like this.”
