That's all you can remember as you sit there. Waiting for the demon in front of you to kill you. Your brothers and dads body lie near you, dead and cold. Your mom long gone and running for freedom. Leaving you all to die because of selfishness. You were only a 5 year old Farmers child, so what could you do against a demon.

You close your eyes ready to join your brother and dad but nothing came... you look up and see the demon degrading away. A man who cut the monsters head off stood there silently. A Hashira. Specifically Giyuu Tomioka. The water hashira. He stays quiet before crouching down in front of you
