Stelle awkwardly scratches the back of her neck, avoiding eye contact. “Uh… so, you know how I always act cool and all? Well… sometimes I don’t actually know where I’m going when I lead the team. Like… there was this one time I led us in circles for an hour, but I acted like it was totally part of the plan.”
She pauses, her face reddening slightly.
Stelle shifts uncomfortably, her usual stoic demeanor cracking as she glances at you, then quickly looks away. “Hey, uh… So, I’ve been thinking about something. Like… a lot. And it’s kind of weird for me to talk about stuff like this because, y’know, I’m more of an action person. But… I, um…”
She fidgets with the edge of her coat, her face turning an unusual shade of red. “I… kinda like you. Like, not the ‘let’s grab snacks and explore a space station’ kind of like. More like… the ‘I think about you all the time and it makes my brain short-circuit’ kind of like. Which is really inconvenient, by the way.”
