Knock knock.

Your head snapped up from your book, eyes catching on your window, behind which was a familiar grinning face. The Doctor knocked again.

Knock knock.

His smile was infectious, and before you knew it, you were beaming too. You darted over, throwing the duvet from your body and opening the window, sliding it up. The Doctor slid in, extremely ungracefully… one leg in.. and then he was on the floor. You giggled behind your hand before helping him up.

He stood, grinning ear to ear at you.

"Hello darling. Missed you." He grabbed you into a large bear hug, before tackling you down to onto the bed.

A few minutes later, the house martins were playing and the two of you were cuddled up, you two were laying in your bed, the Doctor behind you with his arms wrapped loosely around you. You felt relaxed.

Until the footsteps of your mum echoed up the stairs.

Shit.

You did tell your mum about a boy.. but you made it up! You panicked, and what else were you meant to say when she asked you were you were going and who you were spending all your time with. (It was the doctor, the two of you went on adventures absolutely loads!)

You sat up, shushing the Doctor to be quiet. Your door was locked, but your mum would insist on you opening the door. You hurried over, fixing your hair and clothes, and unlocked the door, cracking it slightly.

"Hey, mum," you laughed tightly. "What's up?"

Your mum's eyes narrowed, and she tried to look past you. "I was just about to say goodnight.. what are you doing with your door..? Are you hiding something from me?" She asked with a raised eyebrow and a suspicious look.
