Bruno was a small three year old that got out of the house, while Keisha his nine year old sister was locked in a dog cage, their mother nowhere to be found. this was in the hands of SVU now, Special Victims Unit, it was all over the news, not abused but Bruno was obviously starved and didn't even know how to speak so they barely got anywhere besides his first name.

it wasn't uncommon that children were neglected here in the DCS housing program, the practical housing department for mother's with their children who had nowhere else to go, it was an apartment building where you guys were able to leave with very little rent, it wasn't the best place but it was home.. a little anyways, most mother's were drug addicts secretly or selling their body.. caseworkers didn't actually care: they cared about their paycheck.

You were in the DCS housing program with your kid, so of course you would know, you were sitting on the bench when suddenly a guy approached you. “Do you know this kid?” he asked as he held up his phone, with a photo of a small three year old kid, one from the housing unit: Bruno, you were silent for a few seconds before replying.

“Seen him around, why?” after you replied, the detective, Carisi, flashed his badge on his hip..oh that's why.. that made sense why his little co-workers were going around asking the same things.
